Darlington have completed a loan move for Peterborough United forward Liam Hatch. The twenty-six year old has joined Quakers for three months however is not expected to make his debut at Macclesfield Town this coming weekend thanks to an ankle injury.

Hatch may face a late fitness test before the game at Moss Rose however the forward has already missed the start of the season due to injury. With Aaron Mclean, Craig Machail-Smith and Scott Rendell at London Road the forward is fourth choice for the Posh.

Hatch joined Peterborough in January for £150,000 from Barnet where he had previously spent nearly five years. The forward, who is good in the air, was used as impact player for the Posh starting just one game and making another eleven league appearances as a substitute. Despite this he scored two goals last season for Peterborough including one against his old club.
