One of a few Stockport County players to join Darlington during the summer of 2008.

Adam Griffin began his career as a trainee at Oldham Athletic and went on to make appearances at Chester City and Oxford United on loan. At the midway point of the 2005/06 season Griffin found himself on loan at Edgeley Park and turned in a number of good performances as Jim Gannon's side staved off relegation to the conference.

His reward was a two year contract with Stockport in August 2006 however following their success at Wembley he was deemed surplus to requirements and joined Darlington ahead of the 2008/09 campaign.
