Former Clubs: Ipswich, Boston
Ian Miller first joined Darlington on loan in February 2007 from Ipswich Town. Miller started his career at non league side Bury Town but impressed in trials for Ipsiwch and joined the club in July 2006.
Miller made his football league debut whilst on loan at Boston United during November 2006. The defender went on to play twelve league games for Boston during his loan spell which ended in January 2007 when he was recalled by Ipswich Town.
Less than a month later the defender joined Darlington as Quakers looked to boost their options at the back. The Colchester born player made his Darlington debut against his former loan club Boston United where he scored the opening goal of the game as Quakers went on to win 2-0.
Miller went on to turn in a number of good performances during his loan spell with Darlington and before the start of the 2007/08 season he was bought to the club again on another loan deal. Despite chances being somewhat limited during his second spell the defender agreed to make his move a permanent one in January 2008.
An impressive defender Miller still has some things to learn but has always looked solid during his appearances since arriving at the club and will surely only get better. Has plenty of pace and the ability to find the net from set pieces.
